Albini described his impressions of the Pixies during the recording of Surfer Rosa to the fan magazine Forced Exposure: "A patchwork pinch loaf from a band who at their top dollar best are blandly entertaining college rock. Their willingness to be "guided" by their manager, their record company and their producers is unparalleled. Never have I seen four cows more anxious to be led around by their nose rings." Albini later apologized for his remarks, saying, "to this day I regret having done it. I don't think that I regarded the band as significantly as I should have."

O Doolittle a panovi Albinim - viděno na Pitchfork:
"In all of indie/alternative, there may be no single album more borrowed from, adapted, or flat-out ripped-off than The Pixies' follow-up to Surfer Rosa. Steve Albini once dismissed the band as "boring college rock", and he was half right-- The Pixies were college rock in 1989. (The "boring" half was obviously added to pad his notoriety, as anyone who could call this band boring is surely The World's Biggest Asshole.)"
Jo a jinak Arane, ten Morrissey bude naživo asi "epochal". Ta nová deska je pěknej rachot, o textech ani nemluvě. Geograficky nejblizší nevyprodanej koncert je v Lille druhýho června za pěkných 33 slovenskejch peněz.

Jenda - v posledním zhruba roce ne. Mají na práci bohužel trochu jiný věci, a hlavně každý žije v jinym městě. Ale znáš to - Nigdy neřykej nigdy.

no, uplne funcni asi nebudou kdyz uz nekolik let nezkouseli a nehrajou, jenom vobcas z nich vypadnou nejaky plany vyhruzky, ze uz budou zase zkouset, ale skutek utek a to mam doma ve skrini este 300 jejich cdcek a 280 vinylu....koukejte si to nekdo vobjednat, protoze je to poslednich par kousku.

dekuju vsem, co vcera prisli na Wolves in the Throne Room. bylo to super. ne ze bych neco videla, jen hadam podle reakci lidi a kapel. specialne dekuju Peklovi a Kim! nedekuju pocasi, ktery vsechno furt akorat kurvi.
