ASTRONAUTALIS:
"Everyone needs to head on over to Bleubird´s website and check out the presale for his new album on Fake Four: http://bleubird.org. Really excited and inspired by Bleubird´s boldness in changing his work. It is scary as fuck to take a hard left turn in your music, and bird really pushed himself and his work, in a way that makes sense when you take time to examine his roots. But would totally blindside if you didn’t know him. More artists should be so brave. Do youself a favor and peep the work Bleubird did. And shout out to Fake Four for believing in artists, and letting ramble down the weird twisting, turning paths of our musical careers."

CESCHI:
"Today my friend Bleubird released the 56th album on Fake Four - LAUDERDALE. Ten years ago I thought Bleubird was a Canadian rapper doing some of the most experimental hip hop of all time. A few years later I got to know him & realized this dude was Florida as fuck…undeniably. From Crybaby Crunk to Hustle Hard to now it made sense to me that something like LAUDERDALE would eventually happen - it just felt like a natural move. Florida Bass is in his blood. Still, when bird first approached me with LAUDERDALE I was worried that I wouldn't like it. Unlike a lot of people (even in the underground) I don't love a lot of modern rap. Some of it mildly entertains me but very few artists are saying anything that captures me or even feels authentic (even in the underground). The beats may bang - but a lot of modern rap is essentially a fashion show with hundreds of people mimicking each other. With LAUDERDALE, I was nervous that the honest, human element of Bleubird's writing that I've always loved wouldn't shine through. As soon as I listened to LAUDERDALE straight through - I was relieved and repeated the album instantly. This is EXACTLY what Bleubird wants to do right now & he's being honest as ever on record. This is a guy that loves rap more than anything in this world (far more than I love rap) & is showing that he can shred with the best of them. It's a fluid album that's funny, hard, sometimes personal, hilariously critical of social structures & scenes yet it is technically some of the best rapping my dude has ever done. Mr Belvedere's beats are crazy - some of the dopest production I've ever heard from that world of sound. It's not easy to put yourself out there with a totally different style, possibly alienating an entire fan base built over the course of a decade plus and saying some of things he's saying on here - so I'm really happy he took this plunge. Give LAUDERDALE a listen - bump it loud & take it in."

...ze starý desky, ale furt dobrý!
