As Neurosis gears up for its European and US tours, the band looks back on Enemy of the Sun: "While touring “Souls” we began to answer the call of psych trance states through intense repetition and infused it with a reckless fury that would come to define Enemy of the Sun. It was originally intended to be an EP, but we were so inspired after the organic and seemingly effortless recording of the first few songs with Billy at Razor’s Edge, that we went back to the rehearsal space for a couple weeks and fleshed it out into a full length." — Steve Von Till
