"The cello is such a wonderful instrument. When people see it on stage it’s automatically engaging, it looks beautiful, and the sound itself is amazing so they’re automatically wondering what you’re gonna do up there. And then I think I’m able to get a sound with pedals and my amplifier that people like. It’s pretty broad and I can play in lots of different settings and different people will like it.
